Once we have decided on a date and time that works for us, I will send over a contract and invoice for you to sign to secure your date. I do require a 50% retainer to book your session. I will ask a few questions to see what type of feel you are going for and we can discuss locations. I have also included galleries below of locations that I like based on season! I am also willing to travel within the Rhinelander area to your location, however I like to check it out before hand to ensure that it will work with lighting and background.
Each session is designed to capture the happiness and personality of my subjects. It is important to me to spend a little time getting to know you so I understand how to capture you perfectly! My main objective during our session is to help you have fun. An enjoyable experience in front of the camera always translate to the best images. I will capture a mix of posed and candid images to give you those perfectly frameable portraits and also the shots that best show the essence of our time together.
After your session, I will select the best images from your gallery and edit those according to my style. I will then deliver that gallery to your e-mail address on file within three weeks of your session. You will then be able to select the number of images included in your package, purchase a few more individually or purchase the entire edited gallery. No unedited images are delivered and there are no prints included in your session fee, however you are able to purchase prints through my shop if you'd like.
When having portraits taken, the way all of the outfits and accessories of each subject coordinate will truly be the icing on the cake and pull everything together for your session. Check the tips out below to get the most out of your photo session!
COLORS- Decide on a color palette and stick to it. Keep your family's favorite colors in mind and try to coordinate colors within the scheme. Don't go for one color for all family members, but choose a couple of colors that are In harmony. Also, be sure to avoid fluorescent colors that may cast an unfriendly glare on your face. Let me know if you'd like some examples, I'd be happy to send a few!
SOLIDS- Try to limit patterns as much as possible. It might sound like fun to give dad a sweater with a funky print or let your little ones wear their favorite Disney character on their shirt, but these elements can be distracting in the final product.
